The Cerritos Sheriff Community Safety Center is located at
Los Cerritos Center in the corridor
between Robinson’s-May and Red Robin Restaurant. The 1,200-square-foot space
includes a front lobby/reception area, an office for assigned mall deputies
and a meeting room. Crime prevention materials and other information about
City services, rules and ordinances are available. A "kidprint" service
is also offered, which provides parents with a copy of their child’s
fingerprints for safekeeping in the event of a future emergency or criminal
incident. Operating hours for the new center are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Sunday.
With approximately 30,000 to 50,000 shoppers per day and
more than 7 million vehicles accessing the center per year, the Los Cerritos
Center greatly benefits from the new in-house safety center.
